Higher rate of "first-aiders" against cardiac death
queo motivates potential "first-aiders" with a campaign for this year's Healthy Heart Awareness Week
Sudden cardiac death is one of the leading causes of death in Saxony-Anhalt. Sadly, the rate of "first-aiders" in case of a cardiac arrest is alarmingly low. With its broad-based campaign for this year's Healthy Heart Awareness Week, queo reached 42% of Facebook users and about 13.5% of all residents of Saxony-Anhalt.

These contributions included educational expert opinions as well as preventive measures, such as exercise, proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle
Pluck up the courage to resuscitate
The online campaign's topic was also its purpose: Motivating people to resuscitate in case of an emergency. In order to achieve region-wide awareness for the issue, we addressed all people living in Saxony-Anhalt. Questions to be answered were: Why do such medical emergencies occur? What can I do to minimise my personal risk for a sudden cardiac arrest? How can I help others in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest?

A three-minute educational video clip represents a highlight of the campaign. In a pleasant and easy-to-grasp fashion, this clip explains how to perform CPR (properly). The Instagram story "heart rates" is another highlight worth mentioning here. Here, a playlists indicates the right pulse for performing CPR – in different music styles.
